i lead design for shopify’s agentic integrations. our team works on ways for entrepreneurs to build and run their businesses with shopify through ai tools and agents.

i joined shopify in 2020 and helped build the growth design team. before agentic integrations, i worked on merchant acquisition, activation, trials, and plans, including the $1 for three months paid trial.

before shopify, i was director of product design at cakemail and worked in ux at sid lee and mirum. i also co-founded hello many and imagined creative. i started as a freelance ui designer in 2003.

i’m also building ath, an open-source file format and command-line tool for training and recovery data that ai agents can read.

i’m based in austin, originally from montreal. my wife and i own a small real estate development business. outside work, i do carpentry and spend time on interiors, furniture, and fitness.
